Summary • Emergency maintenance within the vCloud Director environments (ATL and LAX) is required to proactively address a time sensitive platform condition that if left unaddressed would risk potential service instability. • This emergency maintenance will require software and certificate updates. • No customer actions are required. Maintenance Scope • Pre-maintenance system snapshots • Upgrade to the latest supported vCloud Director maintenance release • Platform and configuration security and certificate updates • Post-maintenance validation and health checks Maintenance Window • Date: Friday, May 1, 2026 • Start Time: 9:00 PM EDT • End Time: 11:00 PM EDT • Duration: Approximately 2 hours Service Impact • vCloud Director console access will be unavailable. • vCloud Director dependent backups will be paused during this time, will resume normal cadence and scheduling following the completion of the maintenance. • No impact to running workloads is expected. Risk Mitigation • Full system snapshots will be taken before and after the upgrade to ensure rollback capability if required. • The environment will be closely monitored throughout the maintenance, and services will be promptly restored upon completion.
